Carbon fibre cloth, carbon fiber cloth or carbon fiber fabric are all names for the black woven carbon fibre
reinforcement used in many of today's advanced composites.
Carbon fiber unidirectional reinforcing fabrics are used to improve tensile, compressive strength, and stiffness in one
direction only. This special unidirectional carbon fiber is ideal to maximize flexibility & aesthetics. The binder (that tiny
amount of material in all UNIs that hold the strands together) is only on one side of the fabric, making this product
perfect for both aesthetic purposes and ideal for precise structural reinforcement applications.

Aramid fiber is an aromatic polyamide, better known by the trademark, Kevlar®. Kevlar®aramid fiber is a high
strength, intermediate modulus, organic fiber. Its high tenacity and low thermal shrinkage make it similar to S glass.
It is inherently flame resistant and self-extinguishing, charring at 800ºF (425ºC).

Lightweight Non-Metallic Composite Honeycomb
PP polypropylene honeycomb core exhibits a unique cell structure. The core has 3 orientations vs. the 2
orientations common with other honeycomb, making its properties more uniform. Each cell has a tubular form
and is inherently stable.
Peel ply is a Nylon base woven fabric used in the advance composite industry. Peel plies are placed against the
surface or the laminate where rough surface is required. Normally peel plies leaves the woven impression on the
surface ensuring roughness of the laminate. Peelply has porous and weave structure which absorbs the excess resin
during curing leaving the rough impression on the surface. It is also used to ensure dirt less, and non
contaminated surface for secondary bonding or painting. There are different ranges of peel plies available as per
different range of curing temperature.
Epoxy is a term used to denote both the basic components and the cured end products of epoxy resins, as well as a colloquial name for the epoxidefunctional group. Epoxy resins, also known as polyepoxides are a class of reactive prepolymers and polymers which contain epoxide groups.
Take a typical hand lay-up for making composites one step further with vacuum bagging. Once layers of reinforcement and resin are laid-up by hand, the laminate is sealed in an air-tight environment, like a vacuum bag, and connected to a vacuum source. Vacuum is applied, creating mechanical pressure on the laminate throughout the cure cycle.
Composite materials, often shortened to composites or called composition materials, are engineered or naturally occurring materials made from two or more constituent materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties which remain separate and distinct within the finished structure
